1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Numa, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What Numa is

Numa is a family assistant for iPhone that turns conversation into routine records, reminders, events, tasks, and memories. Numa is an organization and support tool — decisions about your family, including health decisions, are always yours.

3. Account and eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. The account is personal and tied to your Apple identity (Sign in with Apple); you're responsible for keeping access to your device and iCloud secure.

Family members you invite (partner, caregivers) use their own Apple accounts and agree to these same terms by accepting the invite.

4. Numa Pro subscription

Numa is offered by subscription (Numa Pro), with a 7-day free trial on both monthly and annual plans. After the trial, the subscription is billed automatically through the App Store, at the price shown at time of purchase, and renews automatically each cycle (monthly or annual) until cancelled.

You can cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → your account → Subscriptions. Cancelling prevents future charges but doesn't issue a prorated refund for the period already paid, except where required by law or Apple's policies.

Prices may change; any change will be communicated in advance and won't affect a cycle already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Numa only for lawful personal and family purposes, and not to attempt to access other families' data, reverse-engineer the app, or use the service in a way that overloads or compromises its operation.

6. AI-generated content and its limits

Numa uses artificial intelligence (on-device and, with your consent, in the cloud via Google Gemini, accessed through Firebase AI Logic) to interpret your messages and generate responses. Like any AI, it can misread things — review important records before relying on them for critical decisions.

Numa doesn't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Health information organized by the app is a record-keeping aid, not a substitute for guidance from a qualified health professional.

7. Your data and ownership

The records you create belong to you. Numa doesn't claim ownership over your family's content — it only processes that content to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Termination and account deletion

You can close your account at any time through the app. We may suspend or terminate access for an account that violates these terms, with notice when possible.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Numa is provided "as is". We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app, including decisions made based on records or responses generated by the AI.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be communicated inside the app before they take effect; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Brazilian law, including the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados).
